He blinded me with neuroscience

We were able to get a sooner neuro eval, and had it done yesterday with Southeastern Neurology Institute. (Instead of waiting til 9/11 for Nemours). Dr Leon-Barth did a few tests on Camden (same kind of stuff the PT tested on him) and recommends he continue with PT (which will soon be bumped up to twice a week). He also made an appt. with Wolfson's for an MRI for July 31st, to rule out anything neuro going on. Camden will have to do a fasting lab before hand and will also have to fast the day of the MRI. Not eating will most likely be the hardest part for Camden. He will go under anesthesia so he's not so squirmy. Pray for us and we'll keep you posted!

TEST YOUR HOUSECLEANING KNOWLEDGE!

True of false: the most stickiest and hard-to-remove substance is cereal.
If you answered true, you win!!
How do we know this? Camden and I decided to do our own experiment this morning...he with Cheerios and I with my Frosted Flakes. Frosted Flakes proved to be more stickier, but Cheerios mushier.

Back from the beach

We spent the week on the beach with the Baileys and are now adjusting to real life...sigh. Gramps and Nana rented a beach house on St. Augustine beach and the Ross's and Uncle Jon came along too. A block away from the beach, right next to the pier, a fabulous pool and even baby ducks in the pond (which we fattened up with our bread!) made it a kids' paradise.
It was Camden's first real experience at the beach. He didn't quite like it as much as the pool (also a first). As you can see in the pics, he ruled the pool!
He had a blast with his cousins and the rest of the fam. Even took a bath with Maddie and Jake one night. (A shout out to Maddie who learned how to swim this weekend!)
Thanks, Nana and Gramps, for again giving us such a wonderful time and great memories to look back on!
P.S. Uncle Jon--heard an Oasis song playing in Publix and it made me think of you! :)

Doctor stuff

Okay, Camden's finally got a nuerology appointment, but it won't be until Sept. 11th.

He called in sick today with an earache, but we went to the Dr. and got some antibiotics, so it's all right now. And at least he didn't get a shot! We all hate those shots.

Hey, did this swing get smaller?

Or am I getting too big for it?

A friend in the tub

Our goal was to take Camden to the beach yesterday. We had already slathered him up with sunscreen and everything. Alas, the weather and our timing did not cooperate. But since I still had my suit on when we got home, I hopped into the bath with Camden and we made our own little wavepool!
