To Grandmother's house we go
Another monthly supervision for Daddy gave us a great excuse to make the trip over to Tallahassee to see Nana and Gramps and to tailgate with "Uncle Andrew and Aunt Amie" and hang with his FSU buds Emily, Katie, Jackson, Ms. Edie and Mr. Ed. Even Uncle Jon (who has moved out of the house and into a real apartment now that he's in college!) made an appearance. It was Camden's first tailgating experience and he had a blast. Emily and Katie pushed him around in the stroller around the stadium and we all got to hear the Chiefs as they marched in. It was awesome! What was not so awesome was our loss to Clemson, but oh well. Championship Schmanshionship! It was great to see Jackson again--he's gotten so big and has such a funny little personality. Mommy also got to meet baby Olivia (see prior post) who is brand new and Nana got to spend some quality time with Camden on Friday night. What a great weekend!
Baby Bliss
Just wanted to send out a big fat congrats to Beth, who gave birth to Olivia on Friday, the 15th. She weighed 5 lbs and 13 oz and is gorgeous! For those that don't know, Olivia is going to marry Camden one day...Beth and I are making the arrangements!
Also, congrats to my old college roomie Ruth on the birth of her 2nd daughter Alivia and to Stacie, who just found out that she is pregnant! And last but not least, to Melanie who gave birth to a handsome boy, Parker on the 20th. It's baby season, baby!!

4 Months!!
Camden is 4 months old today!! That means it was time for another Dr. appt. and more shots. Camden was all smiles for the staff and Dr. Cheek even asked if he was always this happy. Of course that all changed after getting those 4 shots--poor guy. He took it a lot better this time around, though. I took half the day off to be with him because I expected him to be weak, limp and fussy but he really handled it well and even gave us a few more smiles today. What a little trooper!

Are you ready for some football?
Well, it looks like Camden was the Ravens little good luck charm on Sunday. The Bucs did not do as well as Mommy would have liked, but everybody was happy with the Jags! Daddy took some of his clients to the Jaguar game, while Mommy and Camden watched it at Aunt Joani's house with cousins Maddie and Jake and his buddies Will and Cat. Camden slept through most of the fun, but I had a lot of fun playing with the kids. Go Ravens/Bucs/Jags!!

First Day of School
Today was a big day for Cam---his first day at La Petite! Mommy got a little watery-eyed when we dropped him off, but Camden looked like he was ready to play. I called around 10:30ish to see how he was doing. Ms. Dana said she was in the infant room with him and he was eating. I had to fight the temptation to ask her to put the phone up to his mouth. I didn't get to call again (rough day for me at work-a client threw up in the car I was driving-niiiiice). But when Mommy and Daddy returned at about 5:20, Ms. Patsy had Camden on the floor on a blankie with two other babies and he was all smiles and playful. They said he did great! They kept him on his schedule so he wasn't too fussy. He made two poopies and took 2 hour-long naps. The only thing is he's got a little bit of a sniffle and when we hung out there yesterday, Baby Tara was looking like she had a little cold (she had a runny nose). We hope he hasn't already caught his first cold. (KEEP GERMY TARA HOME!!). But the babies there are so sweet and cute, I think he's going to make friends in no time flat. There's even a lady (Shelly) from Baltimore that noticed his Orioles stuff and was excited about that. And, Gramps, 3 of the staff there are major Cardinals fans so they are ready to talk baseball with us (and thought it was funny that we named him after Camden Yards). So all in all, a pretty good day.
Camden will be going from Monday to Thursday. Daddy was able to adjust his schedule and get Fridays off to be with his little guy. But I think he's really going to like it there!
